The collection features over 230 original high quality photographs
and a set of animated, sound enhanced sildeshow presentations
that tell the story of Armidale's development from the early days
of land clearance and settlement, gold rushes and the growth
of the city's education industry.

The presentations tell of Armidale's schools and university;
of its remarkable treasury of architecture - from Colonial Victorian to Art Deco
to stylish modern; of its tourism attractions and facilities; of its local agribusiness
and farming; and of its many churches and markets and local entertainment spots.

The CD ROM works on PCs but NOT on all Macs.
The slideshows are PowerPoint runtime presentatins,
needing no software other than the Windows environment to run.
The presentation self loads and opens - no computer skills required!
Recommended system standards for presentation are
Pentium I PC or higher, Windows ME or later, sound card and speakers,
600 x 800 pixel monitor or better (image quality depends on monitor quality),
at least 250 MB spare HDD space.

The following image is of the 'slick' - the printed presenter describing contents etc.
It is designed as a self mailer - you can address, stamp and post it without requiring
further packaging - it comes in a sturdy protective flexible plastic envelope.
It includes an international customs declaration sticker - which you must
complete before sending it overseas from Australia, or from any one country to another.

Please note that the slick is designed to carry a variable message - in this case one
of an English language school in Brazil, which uses the CD ROM as
both a teaching aid and a promotional item.
